Each summer the Jewish Museum of Maryland, in conjunction with the Baltimore Jewish Council, holds a Summer Teachers Institute that focuses on giving educators the tools to help their students understand the Holocaust. Through lectures, discussion, and analysis the teachers learn how to interpret this difficult time period for their students.
